Experienced Aluminium Installers / Glaziers – Full-Time

GlacierLite is a joinery and glazing business primarily based in Canterbury. We are looking for a full-time Aluminium Installers / Glaziers to join our growing team and assist with onsite installations across residential and commercial projects. Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites

• Experienced in aluminium joinery or glazing is highly advantageous

• Good documentation and communication skills

• Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious

• Own hand tools preferred but not essential (PPE such as safety boots, helmet, etc.)

• NZ work rights

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of aluminium joinery and glazing systems across residential and commercial sites, including windows, doors, and associated hardware.

• Carrying out on-site preparation works such as setting out, checking levels, sealing, and finishing to ensure quality installations.

• Liaising with clients and site contacts to coordinate installations, site access, and any required follow-up works.

• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation, including job records, site notes, photos, and progress updates, using company systems.

• Loading and unloading of work vehicles with joinery units, glass, tools, and installation materials from suppliers.

• Operating company vehicles safely and maintaining a high standard of workmanship, site safety, and personal presentation at all times.

• Supporting workshop or preparation tasks when required, including glazing, frame preparation, or packing of joinery.

• Undertaking any other reasonable duties related to the role as required to support operational needs and business objectives.
